but the good news is that I'm improving my "grades" since I haven't practiced consistently in months (I don't remember the last time I attempted a new Lesson, I've only been trying to whittle down my Review list). I really want to get back into more grammar practice too--I've been super passive about improving it, usually reading and taking grammar quizzes, but I'm thinking about trying to write up small entries in the future as a way to motivate myself as well.
I think about this a lot when I learn new vocab, and a lot of times something relevant to the new vocab I'm learning would be happening to me irl, and I want to challenge myself to come up with even simple sentences.
Some of the oldest kanji I've yet to burn are the ones tripping me up because they've blurred together in similar meanings or sounds.
I'm having the most issues mixing up 場 and 所 where the on'yomi じょう and しょ are really similar (and I forget when to drop the う) and then I forget when to use じょう or ば although oddly I never mix up ところ, but I guess that's by itself.
This more has to do specifically with 入所 and 入場.
What's a solid way to differentiate 場 (location) from 所 (place)? Those are both... so interchangeable to me in English that it makes it harder for me to tell them apart, honestly.
